For those not paying attention, DHS is still not funded (farming is my non paying job). I am not resting on my laurels! A project I have been postponing is finally done. I cleaned last year's plant residue out of the greenhouse in preparation for the soon to be ready artichoke experiment and potatoes (rest will be planted in about a month). 🤠🤗

Yes, a short season this year. Very fortunate we were able to do what we did, with all of our life changes. So grateful to our community for supporting us! Hello #southernmaine this is the last day we are open this year. We are so grateful for the people who stopped by yesterday...we are almost sold out!!! Remember, ice cream is 5 for $10. There is strawberry, blueberry, watermelon, and a few pumpkin spice, roasted garlic and rhubarb. 🙌

What a great night @mcdougal.orchards apple tasting. I was able to get some great feedback on future jams and sauces (corn, tomato, blueberry cocoa, quince and Apple cider caramel made with ingredients from the farm!) looking forward to next year's samples already (pumpkin spice sauce?!!)
